It's Completed!!!

 After two full days of work our swing set is finally up and in use! Who knew they were so hard to put together! Only a few hundred random pieces of wood and tons of different types of screws/bolts/nuts/etc...Also, if you ever plan on putting one up yourself I HIGHLY recommend having multiple people helping. There is no way one person could do it on their own. Anyway, here are pictures! Hopefully Bennett enjoys it and I don't get too many grey hairs from watching his fearless self climb up/on/over everything. My little boy is growing up.

April Fools!!

Ok so ever since I was little and snuck to the end of my bed at night and turned on my t.v. with the volume down really low to watch "Momma's Family" I've loved April Fools Day. Why you ask? Where does the connection between Momma's Family and April Fools come in? Well...let me explain. There was an episode of Momma's Family where it was April Fools Day and they did several pranks on each other. Just your typical pranks like switching the salt and sugar containers, putting shaving cream on the telephone, etc. etc. So in the spirit of this "holiday" I served my family a fun and festive April Fools Day dinner.

                     So we had "toast and eggs" aka: toasted pound cake and yogurt with an apricot halve.

So hopefully you guys enjoyed your April 1st as much as we did and had fun playing a couple good-natured pranks on your loved ones.
